Over 8 million Confirmed Coronavirus Cases in the World As Nigeria Records 661 New Cases

As the Covid 19 pandemic persists, over eight million confirmed cases has been recorded in the world. According to Worldometers, 8,922,027 coronavirus cases has been recorded so far since the spread began and 466,867 recorded deaths.

In Nigeria, 661 new cases has been confirmed by the NCDC bringing the total confirmed cases to 19,808 with 506 recorded deaths. Of the new cases in Nigeria, Lagos State has the highest confirmed case with 230, followed by Rivers State with 127 cases, Delta State with 83 cases, FCT-60, Oyo-51, Edo-31, Bayelsa-27, Kaduna-25, Plateau-13, Ondo-6, Nasarawa-3, Ekiti-2, Kano-2, Borno-1.
